Year 5 WWWodson Games

Dear Parents and Carers of Year 5 Children,

Year 5 WWWodson Games – Monday 15^th June 2026

9.00am to 12.00pm

Year 5 are taking part in the WWWodson Games at Wodson Park, Ware, on Monday 15^th June. The children will have the opportunity to work in groups during a range of different sporting activities.

 Please take your child directly to Wodson Park for 9am where they will be met by staff.  The event finishes at 12.00pm and we will walk back to Priors Wood for the children to have lunch.  Please either send your child with a packed lunch that day, or if you wish to order a school lunch in advance please email admin@priorswood.herts.sch.uk by Friday 5^th June at the latest to let us know which option they would like.

For the event the children should wear their full Priors Wood PE kit and trainers, and should bring their water bottle and packed lunch, if you haven’t pre-ordered a school lunch for them.   As the event is outside please also send your child with a raincoat in case of showers.

Unfortunately the Hertford & Ware Schools Sports Partnership have stipulated that no spectators are allowed at this event.

 Please give consent for your child to take part on Arbor under trips by Monday 8^th June at the latest or email admin@priorswood.herts.sch.uk if you have any questions at all.
