Welcome back to the final term of Year 2!
"The beautiful thing about learning is that nobody can take it away from you."
I hope you all had a lovely half-term break and found time to rest, recharge and enjoy some special family moments. It has been wonderful welcoming the children back to class as we begin our final term together in Year 2.
This is such an important and exciting part of the year. The children have already achieved so much and I am incredibly proud of the progress they have made. Over the coming weeks, we will continue to build on their learning, strengthen key skills and support them as they grow in confidence, independence and resilience.
The final term of Year 2 is also a time to celebrate how far the children have come and to prepare them for the next stage of their journey into Key Stage 2. We have lots to look forward to, with new learning, exciting opportunities and plenty of chances for the children to shine.

Year 2 - Curriculum Meeting - Autumn Term
PE Days
Our PE days are a Monday (Indoor) and a Friday (Outdoor).
Your child should come into school wearing their PE kit on these days.
Book Change
Books will be changes on a Monday.
However, your child should be bringing their reading book and reading record into school with them everyday so that an adult can read with them.
Please note, there will now only be 2 books handed out; free choice from the library and a Monster Phonics book that the child is able to read fluently and independently.
