Autumn 2020

Year 2 have settled well into a busy start to the year. This term we have been exploring the world, looking at the seven continents and the five oceans. This led to investigating the four countries that make up the United Kingdom.

The children have also enjoyed our English topic of traditional tales focusing on Goldilocks and the Three Bears. It was a shock to arrive at school on a Monday morning to find that Goldilocks had broken into the Three Bears cottage and the Bears had left the bowls of porridge in our classroom!! The children helped Goldilocks say sorry to the Bears by writing some beautiful letters.

We have been taking advantage of the lovely weather we have been having and spending lots of time learning and exploring in our outdoor classroom. Here are some photos of some of the learning that has taken place this half term.
